ASQA's 3rd Insights paper: survey findings on online delivery

We continue to share insights from our strategic review of online learning.

Our third insights paper shares the findings of our 2021 survey of over 1,200 providers' use, experience and perceptions of online learning. The survey was jointly administered with the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER).

The survey responses offer insights into the nature and range of delivery modes used to administer online learning, hastened by the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes insights into the impact of the pandemic on providers' delivery modes, such as an increase of online delivery across most training packages. Responses also highlight a range of special challenges faced during the pandemic, such as addressing the requirements of training packages for the practice of manual or interpersonal skills and practical demonstrations.
