Corrective Services Investigation Unit (CSIU) detectives are investigating the assault of a 31-year-old man at the Capricornia Correctional Centre yesterday morning (October 22).
The man was transported to Rockhampton Hospital.
Police attended the facility, investigations are ongoing.
