Additional federal funding is available for businesses to adopt AI, improve their operations, and bring new AI technologies to market

Atlantic Canadian businesses will benefit from additional support to put artificial intelligence (AI) to work, helping them improve operations, produce more, and reach new customers across Canada and abroad.

Today, the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, announced an Atlantic-wide call for proposals for businesses across Atlantic Canada interested in introducing AI into their operations or bringing their own AI technologies to market and growing their sales.

Business across a range of sectors could use this funding to put AI to work. For example, projects could help businesses better manage inventory, spot problems on a production line, or bring a new AI technology to market.
