Attempted Murder Charge, Park Ridge

Logan detectives have charged a man with attempted murder following an alleged wounding incident in Park Ridge overnight, 5 December.

It will be alleged around 10pm an altercation occurred at a Bark Street address between two men.

A 27-year-old Regents Park man sustained an alleged stab wound to his chest during the altercation and he was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Police arrested a Park Ridge man at the address and located a knife which is alleged to have been used during the altercation.

It will be further alleged the pair were known to each other.

A 35-year-old Park Ridge man has since been charged with one count of attempt to murder.

He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today, 6 December.
