On Friday 24 April 2026, detectives from the Mandurah Rapid High Harm Offender team arrested a 56-year-old man after he allegedly attempted to bribe a witness in an ongoing criminal investigation.
The criminal investigation is ongoing, and detectives advise they will investigate any reports of anyone attempting to bribe or pressure a witness, which is a serious offence.
The 56-year-old man from College Grove has been charged with:
• Attempted to Pervert the Course of Justice
He appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court on 25 April 2026 and was remanded in custody. He is next due to appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court on 8 May 2026.
