Sex Assault Squad detectives are seeking information regarding an incident in Atwell yesterday, Thursday 15 September 2022, in which a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted.
The incident occurred sometime between 7:30pm and 8:15pm at Harmony Oval.
The victim had accepted a lift from a man driving a white Holden Commodore sedan near the Harvest Lakes Shopping Centre. The victim was driven to Harmony Oval, and after the victim and the man exited the vehicle and walked onto the oval the victim was sexually assaulted.
The offender is described fair skinned, aged in his early 20's, 180-185cm tall and of medium build.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of the Harvest Lakes Shopping Centre or Harmony Oval around the time of the incident, and who has dash-cam or mobile phone vision that could assist this investigation, particularly vision showing a white Holden Commodore sedan, can upload the vision directly to Investigators via this link:
