The 2026 AusCycling Road National Championships rolls into Perth for a second consecutive year in January.
Tens of thousands of cycling fans will line the courses across the city when the premier road cycling event runs from 7-11 January 2026.
The 2025 AusCycling Road National Championships drew more than 5,000 out-of-state visitors to Western Australia and generated $9.4 million for the State economy.
The championships also attracted 50,000 fans to the event over five action-packed days at Kings Park, Northbridge and the Perth CBD, where Perth-born Luke Durbridge won his second Australian national title.
This year's races are expected to again inject millions of dollars into WA's economy while the international broadcast will showcase Perth as a world-class destination for global sporting events.
Welcoming the AusCycling Road National Championships back to Western Australia is part of the Cook Government's economic diversification strategy to draw major events to the State, boosting local businesses and industry to support local jobs.
Before the 2025 event, the championships had not been held in WA for more than 27 years and had not been held outside of Victoria since 2007.
