We've got widespread showers and storms that are expected to increase through southern and south-eastern parts of the state. Now, storms may be severe throughout the southern interior, bringing large hail or damaging winds. Elsewhere around the state, however, we've still got hit and miss showers and storms that will tend a little bit more widespread about the Gulf country. For Brisbane, a cloudy day with showers and the chance of an afternoon or evening thunderstorm, a top of 25 degrees.
Down in New South Wales, we've got widespread showers and storms throughout the north-eastern quadrant. And storms may be severe about the north-west slopes and plains, bringing large hail or damaging winds. Otherwise, hit and miss showers along that southern half of the east coast in onshore winds. While we head in further inland west and north, there's also a risk of an afternoon shower or storm. For Sydney, a partly cloudy day with a slight chance of a shower, a top of 24 degrees. While for Canberra, a slight chance of a morning shower, and then a partly cloudy afternoon, a top of 26.
Heading down into Victoria, we've got some showers early in the morning, then clearing later, but then showers and thunderstorms developing through the far west as that trough moves in and extending into central districts during the evening. Daytime temperatures will be in the mid to high teens in the south, but grading up to the low 30s as we head into the north-west. For Melbourne, a partly cloudy day with showers developing late at night, a top of 18 degrees.
Down in Tasmania, a partly cloudy day with just a few light showers about the south-west. Daytime temperatures between 8 to 2 degrees below the November average. For Hobart, we're forecasting a partly cloudy day with a slight chance of a shower or two, a top of 15 degrees.
For South Australia, we've got this trough moving in that's bringing these showers and storms to the southern agricultural area that will gradually contract into the south-east during the evening. Now, there's also a risk of showers or storms in the north, but generally or more frequent about the far north-west. For Adelaide, a partly cloudy day with showers and a thunderstorm likely during the afternoon or evening, a top of 26.
Out in WA, there is a cold front that's forecast to brush past that very far south-west tip, bringing some showers there. Otherwise, showers and storms really starting to pop up through the interior during the afternoon and evening. For Perth, a sunny day and a top of 24 degrees.
Up for our tropical north, the wet season has well and truly arrived. We've got these showers and storms that are most frequent during the afternoon and evening, but they're also extending down into the interior. For Darwin, a shower or storm, a top of 33 degrees.
