Perth is buzzing with energy as top UFC talent arrive for the Australian-exclusive 2025 UFC FIGHT NIGHT: ULBERG vs REYES.
The much-anticipated event takes placeat RAC Arena this Sunday, 28 September and will draw thousands of out-of-state visitors to Western Australia. It will also be broadcast live to more than 950 million households across 170 countries, showcasing Perth on a global stage.
Supported by the Cook Government through Tourism WA, fans will have the chance to get up close to the action in the lead-up to the Fight Night at several fan events, including:
- a press conference with Carlos "Black Jag" Ulberg, Dominick "The Devastator" Reyes and other competing fighters at RAC Arena on Friday, 26 September; and
- the official Ceremonial Weigh-Ins also at RAC Arena on Saturday, 27 September.
The event is Perth's first-ever UFC Fight Night, as well as the first event of its kind to be held anywhere in Australia since 2018.
The headline bout will feature a five-round clash between No. 3-ranked UFC light heavyweight Ulberg and No. 8 former title contender Reyes, resulting in a potential title eliminator for the light heavyweight belt.
The main card will also feature high-profile match-ups including featherweights Jack Jenkins and Ramon Taveras, welterweights Jake Matthews and Neil Magny, and fan favourites Jimmy Crute and Ivan Erslan.
With a fanbase exceeding 700 million worldwide and over 318 million followers across its social media platforms, UFC stands as one of the most influential sporting brands globally.
Past UFC events in Perth have boasted huge success, with UFC 305 in 2024 attracting a sold-out crowd of over 14,000 fans and breaking records as the highest-grossing event in RAC Arena history, surpassing the previous benchmark set by UFC 284 in 2023.
