Author Talk at Griffith Library Boosts Retirement Confidence

Planning for retirement can feel overwhelming, but an upcoming event at Griffith City Library aims to make it simpler, clearer and more achievable.

Community members are invited to attend an author talk with James Wrigley on Wednesday 6 May at 5.30pm, where he will share practical insights on building the life you truly want in retirement.

Drawing on nearly two decades of experience as a financial adviser with First Financial, James will explore key steps to help individuals gain clarity, confidence and a fresh perspective when planning their future.

The session will feature real-life stories and accessible advice, reflecting James' passion for helping Australians navigate major financial decisions, from building wealth through to transitioning into retirement.

James is also the author of Retire Life Ready, a guide designed to empower readers to take control of their financial future. Copies of the book will be available for purchase on the night, with an opportunity for signings following the talk.

Bookings are essential and can be made via wrl.nsw.gov.au/events.

Griffith City Library Manager, Chris Robson encourages residents to take advantage of this informative session and gain valuable tools to plan for a confident and fulfilling retirement.

"Events like this give people the opportunity to step back, ask questions and gain practical guidance, so they can approach retirement with greater confidence and a clearer sense of what's possible," he said.
