ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
FLOODING IS OCCURRING IN THE TODD RIVER
Moderate to heavy rainfall over the upper catchment from around 0400 hrs, with 41mm recorded at Bond Springs and 6mm at Upper Bond Springs.
This resulted in the Todd River level rising and causing low level flooding.
The water level at Anzac Oval (Todd River) started to rise at 0300 hrs and is currently 1.61m, is still rising and is forecast to rise to a peak of around 2.2m at approximately 0900 hrs. This would be a Category B flow.
As a consequence of this the following causeways remain closed:
• Schwarz Crescent
• Wills Terrace
• Taffy Pick
• Palm Circuit
Access from Desert Springs and Mt Johns is via the Territory Generation access road.
Additional Information:
The catchment remains saturated, and river flows are likely to react rapidly if high intensity rainfall occurs.

Very high chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm early this morning.
