Babysitter further charged with offences

Child Abuse Squad detectives have charged a 24-year-old man with a further 13 charges relating to the alleged sexual offences against two new victims.

It is alleged in November 2020, the man sexually assaulted two girls aged 5 and 6 whilst he was employed to babysit them. The man advertised his babysitting services through an online babysitting service.

The 24-year-old man who is currently in prison has been charged with:-

• Four counts of Sexual Penetration of a Child under 13 years;

• Three counts of Indecent Dealings with a Child under 13 years; and

• Six counts of Indecently Record a Child under 13 years.

He is next due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on 8 November 2021.
