Back to School Payment Scheme

NT Government

In Term One of each year, $150 of educational goods and services is made available for each child. This applies to students from Transition to Year 12, regardless of whether they attend a government or a non-government school.

Preschool students are also eligible, with the payment available in their first term of attendance, regardless of the time of year.

The schemes are administered by the individual schools and the schools decide what goods and services are on offer for their students. Items are only available to purchase through the school.

These may include:

school uniform, including hats, book bagstextbooksstationery, including calculators, flash drives, school diariesschool excursionsstudent ID cardsstudent photographyschool campselective activities.

The entitlements are not transferrable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Parents and guardians should contact their schools to access the entitlement.
