Police have charged four more men with murder this afternoon, 9 August, as part of investigations into the death of a 21-year-old man in Bahrs Scrub last month.
On 26 July 2026, police were called to a disturbance in Discovery Boulevard, Bahrs Scrub. As a result, police located a 21-year-old man unconscious and suffering significant head injuries. He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition but later passed away from his injuries.
On 6 August, Detectives from the Logan District Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Investigation Unit, charged four men with murder and one man with contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically.
Following continued investigations, Detectives from Logan CIB and HIU located and arrested four males in Morayfield around 5pm today, 9 August.
An 18-year-old Acacia Ridge man has been charged with murder.
An 18-year-old Sunnybank man has been charged with murder.
The two men will appear in Richlands Magistrates Court tomorrow, 10 August.
A 17-year-old Doolandella boy has been charged with murder.
An 18-year-old Inala man has been charged with murder.
They will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, 10 August.
Detectives from Logan CIB and HIU continue to thank members of the community for the significant assistance, cooperation and support provided throughout the investigation.
Police particularly acknowledge residents, community leaders and representatives who have worked with investigators and encouraged members of the community to come forward with information.
