Baldivis firearm incident

A 49-year-old woman from Baldivis will appear before the Rockingham Magistrates Court today, 19 February 2019 after she allegedly fired a firearm.

It will be alleged around 6pm on Monday 18 February 2019, the woman fired the weapon at a man in his 20s who is known to her.

The projectile struck the victim's work boot on the metal ring that supports the shoe laces with the projectile then continuing and causing an approximately 3cm indentation on the boot and a small welt to the victim's foot.

The woman has been charged with:-

• Unlawful Act or Omission with Intent to Harm (endangering life, health or safety of any person); and

• Pointed Firearm at another Person.
