Johns Hopkins University

The AFRO this month honored three leaders from Johns Hopkins University.

The Baltimore-based news outlet named Keshia Pollack Porter and Maria Harris Tildon as "women to watch" and dubbed Alicia Wilson one of the city's "C-suite leading ladies".

Pollack Porter is the dean of the Bloomberg School of Public Health; Tildon is vice president for government, community and economic partnerships for the university; and Wilson is vice president for civic engagement and opportunity.

"Dr. Keshia Pollack Porter and Maria Tildon are widely recognized scholars and experts in their respective fields of study," The AFRO wrote.

Wilson was honored as one of "Baltimore's Leading Ladies" at The AFRO's 2026 Baltimore Tea event in April.
