Baw Baw appoints Director Strategy and Organisational Performance

Baw Baw Shire Council has appointed a new Director Strategy and Organisational Performance, Ms Caz McLean, who will join Council's Executive Leadership Team on Monday 24 May 2021.

Ms McLean has senior leadership experience within Local Government, having previously held roles as Manager Digital and Data and Manager Organisational Performance at City of Casey.

Most recently Ms McLean has worked as a consultant assisting Councils with leadership development, project, and strategy design, change management and innovation.

Ms McLean holds a Masters Degree in Social Science and a double Masters in Strategic Foresight and Business Administration, during which she was one of six students selected to study strategic and ethical leadership at Boston's Northeastern University.

Ms McLean's experience will assist in the development of Council's new Council Plan and Community Vision, support the Aged and Disability Services transition, and manage the growth in key service areas, such as Family and Children's Services.

As Baw Baw's Director Strategy and Organisational Performance, Ms McLean will lead teams in Corporate Planning, People and Culture, Community Services, Family and Children's Services, Aged and Disability Services, and Finance.
