Bayside Library Service integrates with Google giving members more ways to borrow books

Bayside Library Service integrated with Google earlier this week, allowing members another way to access the library catalogue.

What does this mean for users? When you search for a book on Google, the knowledge panel - located on the right-hand side of the search results - lists where you can "Get Book" with options including purchasable (from a store) and borrowable (from a library) items. Simply search for a book, scroll down to Bayside Library Service and click "borrow" - you will then be redirected to our library catalogue where you can complete the reservation process.

This new service will allow increased visibility and greater access to our collection.
