Become ADF Supplier: Here's How

Department of Defence

Australian businesses will have the chance to learn more about becoming a Defence provider when the Office for Defence Industry Support (ODIS) hits the road with its second tranche of forums.

The first of eight forums will be held in Melbourne and Perth in late March and early April and will allow small to medium businesses (SMEs) to hear from key Defence industry personnel on how they can deliver capability that equips and sustains the ADF.

The theme for the Melbourne event will be cyber and security, while speakers in Perth will focus on key tools for Defence industry SMEs.

Francesca Rush, Capability, Acquisition and Sustainment Group First Assistant Secretary Industry Capability and Chief Counsel Commercial, said the forums were "an invaluable opportunity for businesses to network with senior Defence and industry representatives and receive advice, guidance and mentoring services from ODIS Defence Industry Advisors".

"ODIS forums provide awareness to best ready your business for entry and expansion into the Defence marketplace," Ms Rush said.

The first forum for 2023 will be hosted in Melbourne on March 29 and in Perth on April 5.
