One of The Hills Shire's most historic landmarks will be reimagined through light and sound this September.

Step into Echoes – Luna Light Journey to experience the rich history of Bella Vista Farm like never before – from the Dharug people and their study of the stars, the early settlers and the citrus orchards the region was known for – retold through custom soundscapes, light installations and pulsating special effects.

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne said the month-long activation will be a captivating experience for residents and visitors.

"We've partnered with Dural-based, international events company, Laservision to bring the first-ever immersive sound and light experience to The Hills," Mayor Byrne said.

"Past and present will meet with a futuristic retelling of the story of Bella Vista Farm, which was established as a farm complex in the 1700s and is a cultural site of national significance.

"Travel along the reimagined convict road, wander through fluorescent farms and flower fields, and witness the story of Elizabeth and John Macarthur, the founders of the Australian wool industry.

"This will be an unmissable event. Bring the whole family to make a night of it and grab dinner from one of the food trucks on-site."

Laservision is a global success story known for producing record-breaking light and sound shows in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai, along with their extremely popular, limited season, Luna Light Journeys throughout Australia.

"Our Luna Light Journeys, or immersive night walks, have been selling out in cities across Australia since our inaugural show in Bendigo, 2021. Our skilled teams know how to capture the community's imagination, and we are thrilled to be producing Echoes on our doorstep," remarked Shannon Brooks, CEO and Owner of Laservision.

Tickets will sell quickly, and it's recommended to plan your night at Echoes by reserving your tickets ahead of time.
