Belmont Fire Investigation

Cannington Detectives are seeking information regarding a fire at a business premises on Belvidere Street, Belmont this morning, Monday 19 September 2022.
About 3:30am police were called to the business premises by a member of the public in relation to damage at the front of the building and a possible fire inside.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) was advised and requested to attend.
Belmont Police arrived at the scene and extinguished a small fire that was inside the building. DFES personnel attended and conducted an initial assessment of the scene.
At this time the fire is being treated as suspicious.
