
Swan Hill Library will welcome back bestselling Australian author Leonie Kelsall for an evening of conversation about her writing and latest novel, The Windmill in the Silver Gums.
Leonie first visited Swan Hill Library in 2022, where she discussed her debut rural romance novel – The Farm at Peppertree Crossing.
The event, In Conversation with Leonie Kelsall, will take place at 7pm on Wednesday 30 September and will give readers the opportunity to hear from the much-loved author about her writing journey, the inspiration behind her stories, and the people and landscapes that bring her characters to life.
The Windmill in the Silver Gums is the tenth novel in Kelsall's popular Settler's Bridge series. Set against the sweeping backdrop of rural Australia, the novel explores themes of resilience, family secrets, enduring love, and the fight to protect the land that shapes generations.
A country girl through and through, Kelsall has won the hearts of readers with her bestselling novels, including The Farm at Peppertree Crossing, The Wattle Seed Inn, and The Path Through the Coojong Trees.
Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan said the event would be a wonderful opportunity for the community to meet a popular Australian author and hear more about her writing.
