Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre (DRTCC) is set to host the smash-hit Shake & Stir production, GRIMM, next month.
GRIMM, based on tales from the Brothers Grimm, reimagines classic fairytales - such as Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood – into an intense, irreverent, and nightmare-inducing show.
DRTCC's Performing Arts and Venues Coordinator Tiffany Rowland said GRIMM is set to entertain audiences across the region.
"Shake & Stir are an incredible company and always bring their unique storytelling style to the theatre stage.
"GRIMM will have audiences delighted with its wickedly funny dialogue, incredible set design, and fabulous costuming," Ms Rowland said.
From the company behind the award-winning stage spectacles Dracula, Roald Dahl's George's Marvellous Medicine, and Jane Eyre comes this bold adaption of tales from the Brothers Grimm in a bewitching theatre experience.
Adapted by Nelle Lee, directed by Daniel Evans and with costumes designed by Australian fashion icon Paul McCann, patrons of the show can expect a lavish, loud and lucid night.
GRIMM will be performed in the July school holidays on Tuesday 7 July at 7:30pm. Add this production with two other shows from the 2026 program to become a season subscriber and unlock a range of benefits.
Tickets are available by heading to drtcc.com.au, phoning 6801 4378, or visiting the DRTCC Box Office.
This production contains adult themes, sexual references, simulated violence and gore, infrequent coarse language, depiction of alcohol consumption, smoke effects, strobe lighting, and loud sound effects/music. It is recommended patrons be over the age of 14 to attend.
