A 12-year-old boy reported missing from Aberglasslyn on Friday has been found safe and well.
The boy was last seen on a bike track near his home on Cypress Road, Aberglasslyn, about 6pm yesterday (Friday 15 April 2022).
He was reported missing to officers attached to Port Stephens-Hunter Police District, who immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following inquiries, the boy was located at Melville about 7am today (Saturday 16 April 2022).
Police thank the community and media for their assistance.
