The McDonald Parade Reserve in Burrill Lake is benefiting from a brand-new playground designed to support physical activity, imagination and social interaction.
With a soft-fall and tan bark surface, the playground offers a comfortable, all-season space for outdoor play.
Mayor Patricia White said the upgraded play equipment was right on the lake, making it a great location for families looking for a fun day out.
"This park really has it all with fantastic new play equipment complemented by access to public toilets and ample parking," Cr White said.
"Having quality play areas close to home encourages kids to stay active and helps strengthen connections across the neighbourhood," she said.
"It's wonderful to see another high-quality playground delivered for our community."
Features of the upgrade include:
play tower with climbing wall, rope ladder and spiral tube slide
crawl panel
sensory play panel
rubber dolphin
music chime panel
plastic cubby
swings including a strap seat, infant seat and basket seat.
