Brazier Road is Orange's newest street

Orange Council

Under state regulations (Section 162 of the Roads Act 1993) Orange City Council is required to inform the community about new street names by placing an item on the council website.

To be a part of the new Honeyman Drive subdivision in Discovery Hill, Brazier Road will run south-westerly from Honeyman Drive through to Quinlan's Run. Brazier Road is named after Mr Brazier who owned the Nubrygyn Inn in 1865, and was famously held up by the bushranger Ben Hall. The family has continued to contribute to the Orange area as pastoralists over the last 179 years.
