Break and enter offences at Gold Coast 15 February

Police have charged three 17-year-olds after a number of alleged linked break and enters on the northern Gold Coast in the early hours of this morning, February 15.

It will be alleged between 3.40am and 4.40am, a service station on Millennium Circuit at Helensvale, a post office on Vaughan Drive at Ormeau, and a service station at Global Plaza Drive at Oxenford were broken into.

There was also an alleged attempted break in at a tobacco store on Arthur Way at Ormeau.

A stolen Toyota Corolla was linked to all four alleged offences and was observed being abandoned in Surfers Paradise around 5am today, February 15, where police detained three males.

The vehicle was reported stolen from Bethania yesterday, February 14.

The three males been charged with six counts of enter with intent and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

They are due to appear at Southport Childrens Court at a later date.

Police investigations are continuing to locate two more people in connection to the break ins.
