Break-in at Glengowrie hotel, South Australia

Police are investigating after a cigarette machine was stolen during a hotel break-in a short time ago.

Smashing glass and alarms were heard coming from the hotel on Morphett Road, Glengowrie about 4.50am on Thursday 3 September.

When police arrived they found a trail of cigarettes leading out the door.

A witness reported seeing two men drive off in a green Ford Falcon sedan or similar with a cigarette machine hanging out the boot.

Crime scene investigators will attend the scene this morning.
