Liverpool Powerhouse hosts a celebration of Latin American culture this month, when the award-winning Primavera Latin American Festival returns on Sunday 27 September.
The free, family-friendly festival will bring music, dance, food, markets and cultural experiences to the Powerhouse for a day of springtime celebrations.
Liverpool Mayor Ned Mannoun said Primavera was a great opportunity for residents to experience the richness of Latin American culture while enjoying one of Liverpool's premier cultural destinations.
"Liverpool is a city where people from all around the world come together, and our festivals are a wonderful way to celebrate the cultures, traditions and experiences that make our community so special," Mayor Mannoun said.
"Primavera is going to be a fantastic day out for families, with great music, delicious food and plenty of activities for people of all ages.
"I encourage everyone to come along, enjoy the atmosphere and discover what Liverpool Powerhouse has to offer."
The festival is part of Council's Experience the World major events program, celebrating the diverse cultures that contribute to Liverpool's vibrant community.
Mayor Mannoun said visitors should make the most of their time at the Powerhouse by enjoying the festival alongside its other attractions.
"While you're there, make a day of it. Enjoy a meal at Bellbird, explore the current exhibitions and take in the beautiful surroundings of the Georges River," Mayor Mannoun said.
"Liverpool Powerhouse is a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends, and Primavera will give everyone another reason to visit."
"With live performances, cultural workshops, Latin American flavours and family entertainment, Primavera promises to bring the spirit of the Latin American spring to Liverpool," he said.

- Live music and dance performances, including ESO ESO, Danny Sanz, Victor Valdes Mariachi Band, Shara Rose Latin Experience, Selecta Orchestra and Sabor Boliviano.
- Latin American food stalls featuring flavours from Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil and Mexico.
- Salsa, cumbia, Latin dance, percussion and folkloric dance workshops.
- Artisan markets delivered in partnership with Altrimenti Markets.
- Family activities, including live butterflies, Alpaca Kisses, creative activities and flower-making.
- Western Sydney Wanderers football activation, including a Shootout Zone and juggling challenge.
- A special 1pm screening of Disney's Encanto at Liverpool Powerhouse Theatre. Tickets are $5 per person.
- Colourful floral installations, interactive photo opportunities and roving entertainment.
Food and dining:
Bellbird Dining & Bar will be open during the festival, with food and drinks inspired by Latin American culture and cuisine. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy a meal or refreshments as part of their day at the Powerhouse.
