Nominations for the 2023 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards open today.
The Northern Territory's official tourism awards program, the Brolga Awards recognise and encourage Territory tourism businesses that strive for excellence in all areas of their operations, with the winners in the running to win an Australian Tourism Award.
Territory based tourism operators, attractions, accommodation providers, festivals and events and industry suppliers are all encouraged to nominate their business in one of the 26 business categories that range from Tourism Attractions to Business Event Venues, Tourism Restaurants and Catering Services, and many more.
This year a new award category, Excellence in Accessible Tourism, has been introduced which recognises tourism businesses that endeavour to ensure their products and services are accessible to all people, regardless of their physical limitations, disabilities or age.
The Brolga Awards also recognise the efforts of individuals working in the tourism industry, with individual winners celebrated for their contribution within the Territory.
Nominations are free, with a range of assistance available to aid nominees with their Brolga Award submission.
Nominations open today, 27 March, and close 9 August, with all submissions due by 30 August 2023.
Finalists will be recognised and the tourism industry celebrated at the 2023 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards gala dinner to be held on Saturday 11 November 2023 in Darwin.
