Burglary with violence, Mount Lofty

Detectives from Toowoomba Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are investigating following the burglary and assault of a woman at a residence in Mount Lofty early this morning.

Around 1.45am two men forced entry into the residence on Jellicoe Street before assaulting a female occupant and stealing a vehicle, a gold 2023 Land Rover Defender bearing personalised Queensland registration SIG002 (actual vehicle pictured).

The 54-year-old female occupant received an injury to her arm as a result of the assault and was transported to the Toowoomba Base Hospital for treatment.

The first male is described as approximately 183cm tall, wearing a tracksuit and a green and black bandana as a face mask.

The second male is described as approximately 183cm tall, wearing a tracksuit and a face mask.

Anyone who sees the vehicle or has any information which could assist in this investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
