Bunbury Detectives are seeking information regarding a bushfire in Palmer on Thursday 11 January 2024.
It is believed the fire started between 10pm and 1.30pm, in bushland around Collie-Williams Road near Lawson Road.
Due to strong winds the fire rapidly spread burning 300 hectares with one million dollars damage to the Blue Gum Plantation.
The cause of the fire is being treated as suspicious at this time and detectives urge anyone with information relating to this fire, or who has mobile phone or dash-cam vision of the area of the fire, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au
Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
