- Food and wine festival Cabin Fever returns to South West for three more years
- Popular event provides a winter tourism boost for the Margaret River region and beyond
- Supported by the Cook Government, through Tourism WA
The popular Cabin Fever Festival has been awarded funding for another three years, in a win for the South West region's tourism and hospitality industry.
Kicking off its 2025 event today, the 10-day food, wine and entertainment festival is sponsored by the Cook Government through Tourism WA's Regional Events Program until 2027.
Taking place at a range of venues across the South West from 18 to 27 July, with key events in Margaret River and Busselton, Cabin Fever is a draw card for out-of-region visitors.
Now in its ninth year, Cabin Fever is always a popular festival, drawing visitors to the region year-on-year, giving tourism and hospitality businesses a boost in the typically quieter winter months.
Cabin Fever is just another example of the Cook Government's strategy to diversify our economy through major events by driving higher out-of-state visitor attendance and creating a calendar of events all year round.
The continued support for Cabin Fever is the latest in a series of South West event announcements by the Cook Government, which is also supporting the return of Pair'd Margaret River Region in November plus the prestigious The World's 50 Best Vineyards Awards.
