Vehicle charges, Trinity Beach
A 16-year-old boy was arrested by Cairns Property Crime Unit after being located at an Edmonton address yesterday, 18 June.
It is alleged the boy was involved in the theft of a Toyota Corolla from a Trinity Beach address in the early hours of 17 June.
The boy was charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, receiving tainted property, possession of knife in a public place or school, unlawful use of motor vehicle and driving motor vehicle with a driver licence.
The boy was denied bail and is due to appear before the Cairns Children's Court today, 19 June.

Sexual assault, Cairns City
Cairns Criminal Investigation Branch detectives charged a 57-year-old Cairns North man today 18 June, following an alleged incident on 23 May.
Police allege a 22-year-old Earlville woman attended a Lake Street business for a massage when he inappropriately touched the woman.
The woman immediately left and reported the incident to police.
He was charged with one count of sexual assault and is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on 3 July.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or further victims to come forward.
