Call Between US and Ukraine Security Chiefs Discusses Security Concerns

Milley spoke today with Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak, Minister of Defence Oleksii Reznikov, and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Gen. Valerii Zaluzhnyi to discuss steadfast U.S. support for Ukraine's armed forces as they defend themselves against Russia's brutal invasion. The Ukrainian officials provided an update on battlefield conditions and expressed appreciation for the continued provision of U.S. security assistance. The U.S. officials reaffirmed the unwavering support of the United States for Ukraine as defends its sovereignty and territorial integrity. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine joined the call at the conclusion.
