Call for Information - Stealing with Violence - Nightcliff

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to a stealing with violence at a café in Nightcliff this morning.

Two employees were at the premises when three males have allegedly forced their way into the location around 5:00am, Northern Territory Police say.

The three males have then allegedly attempted to steal alcohol which resulted in a scuffle with one of the employees.

The employee was hit over the head and sustained minor injuries.

The alleged offenders fled the location. Police arrested one male a short time after. Another two males have been identified and are yet to assist police with their enquiries.

Another unlawful entry with alcohol stolen occurred around four hours earlier at a premises nearby. Police are investigating whether or not the two incidents are linked.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have information on the identity of the offenders to is urged to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers.
