Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged aggravated assault of a 23-year-old woman on Friday 18 May.
The alleged assault occurred around 5pm in a residential carpark on Shiers Street, The Narrows, Northern Territory Police say.
It is alleged a male assaulted a female and as a result, she has suffered multiple facial injuries requiring surgery.
It is believed four males intervened and chased the offender away.
Police are calling for anyone who may have witnessed or heard anything in the area around 5pm on Friday 18 May to contact them, particularly the males who intervened.
Anyone with information is urged to notify police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
