Cannabis arrests at Craigmore

Two people were arrested after police seized cannabis and gel blasters from a northern suburbs address today.

Acting on information received, Northern District Police searched a Craigmore address today, Tuesday 11 October.

Officers seized 400 grams of cannabis, divided into individual deal bags, cannabis oil, $1500 in cash, as well as two gel blasters and other drug paraphernalia.

A 23-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man, both of the Craigmore address, were arrested and charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled drug, two counts of possess firearm (gel blaster) and money laundering.

They were both refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Wednesday 12 October.
