Cannabis located after traffic stop, SA

A man will face court after a large amount of cannabis was located in the boot of his car following a traffic stop, according to SA Police.

Just after 10.30pm, Friday 26 October, patrols stopped a white Lancer on Tapleys Hill Road, Glenelg North. The driver a 25-year-old man from Morphett Vale submitted to a driver screening test. He returned a positive reading to methamphetamine and cannabis. During a search of the man's car a large amount of cannabis, cash, scales, pipes, bongs and small plastic bags were located in the boot.

The man was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug and unlawful possession. Further charges may be laid in relation to the driver screening test once the sample has been forensically analysed.
