Car crashes into house at Woodville

Police are searching for a driver after a car crashed into a house at Woodville North.

Police and emergency services were called to Thirteenth Avenue just before 2.30am Saturday 30 July after reports a Toyota SUV had hit a wall of a house. Luckily, the occupants of the address were not injured.

The driver fled the scene. Investigations revealed that the car had been stolen during a break-in at a Woodville Park home an hour earlier.

The male suspect is described as being about 180cm tall, slim build, short dark-coloured hair, and was wearing a red puffer jacket, dark-coloured pants and sneakers.
