Car into lagoon at Dry Creek, South Australia

Emergency services attended Dry Creek this afternoon after a car ended up in a lagoon.

About 2.10pm on Thursday 23 June, a car left Port Wakefield Road at Dry Creek, knocked over a light pole and crashed into knee-deep water.

The driver, a 44-year-old man from Paralowie, managed to get out of the car. He was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital with minor injuries.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
