One car ended up in a shopfront after a collision on the Parade this afternoon.
Just after midday, Friday 19 December, two cars collided at the corner of the Parade and Queen Street at Norwood.
A Mazda, containing a 61-year-old female driver and two dogs, then crashed into the front of a restaurant.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 19-year-old man, was issued with an expiation notice for failing to give way.
Fortunately, despite the busy lunchtime crowd on the Parade, there were no injuries.
The building was extensively damaged.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
