Car Used In Paralowie Break-in

Police are investigating after a car was used to break into a shopping centre at Paralowie early this morning.

About 4.40am on Saturday 24 February, police were called to a shopping complex on Whites Road after a witness reported a car had driven through the doors of the building.

A dark coloured SUV drove off a short time later and was last seen on Byron Bay Drive.

When patrols arrived, they discovered the car had been used to gain access to the complex before targeting one of the shops inside where a quantity of cigarettes were stolen.

A short time later, just before 5am, police were called to Vanessa Drive at Burton after reports of a car on fire. Police attended and discovered a Nissan SUV alight.

Patrols searched the area with the assistance of Dog Operations but unfortunately were not able to locate any suspects.

Police are investigating whether this vehicle is linked to the break-in.
