Major Crash Investigation officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Castletown (Esperance) yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 12 January 2021.
About 4.50pm, a black Honda motorcycle and a black Hyundai Tucson station sedan collided at the intersection of Fisheries Road and Goldfields Road.
The 19-year-old driver of the Tucson was not injured.
The motorcycle rider, a 51-year-old man, received critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Esperance Hospital before being airlifted by the Royal Flying Doctor Service to Royal Perth Hospital.
Major Crash Investigation officers are urging anyone who saw the crash or the Honda motorcycle or the Hyundai Tucson travelling in the area prior to the crash, or has dash-cam vision of either, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
