CCTV released in Concord break-in inquiry

Detectives are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into a break and enter at a home in Sydney's Inner West last year.

About 1pm on Monday 26 December 2022, officers from Burwood Police Area Command were called to Burwood Road, Concord, following reports a home was broken into and its occupants were threatened at knifepoint.

The occupants – a 36-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man – were not injured.

A crime scene was established, with detectives commencing an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, investigators are keen to speak with two men who may be able to assist with their inquiries and have released images of a vehicle that they may have been driving.

The vehicle is described as a 2009 Silver Volkswagen Tiguan with registration CT4-2YE.

One of the men is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his 40s, between 165cm-170cm tall, of solid build, and with short black hair.
