Charges laid after teen shot, NSW

A man has been charged after a teenager was shot in north-west Sydney on Saturday, NSW Police say.

About 5:30pm on Saturday 3 November 2018, emergency services were called to a home on Grose Vale Road, Grose Vale after reports a man had been shot.

On arrival police found an 18-year-old man suffering a bullet wound to the left abdomen.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Hawkesbury Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Detectives from Hawkesbury Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Following inquiries, on Sunday 4th November 2019 an 18-year-old man attended Windsor Police Station where he was arrested and charged with discharge firearm intend to cause grievous bodily harm, possess unauthorised firearm and not keep firearm safely.

The man from Grose Vale was granted conditional bail to appear before Windsor Local Court on Thursday 15 November 2018.

The firearm has been seized by police.
