Charges have been laid against a protective services officer from Transit and Public Safety Command following an internal investigation.
The male PSO has been charged with historical sexual offending against two victims in Gisborne in 2006 and 2007, prior to him joining Victoria Police.
The 31-year-old has been summonsed to appear before a magistrate's court at a later date.
