Child Exploitation Arrest in Northern Suburbs

A northern suburbs man was arrested today after police allegedly located child exploitation material at his home.

Today, Wednesday 13 May, investigators from SAPOL's Public Protection Branch attended and searched a northern suburbs residence as a result of an investigation into child exploitation material.

A 62-year-old man was arrested and charged with possess child exploitation material.

He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 31 July.

A number of electronic devices were seized from the property for forensic analysis and the investigation is ongoing.
