Child Injured After Two-vehicle Crash - Rossmore

Police are appealing for assistance after a child was seriously injured in a crash in Sydney's south-west.

About 9am Today (Tuesday 26 March 2024), emergency services were called to King Street, Rossmore, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were told that a silver Holden SUV and a truck were damaged due to a head-on collision.

The driver of SUV - a 35-year-old woman - was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital for a mandatory testing in a stable condition.

The passenger of SUV - a 2-year-old baby - was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to the Children's Hospital at Westmead in a critical condition.

The driver of the truck - a 31-year-old man - was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for a mandatory testing in a stable condition.

A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident has commenced.
