Christmas comes to life in Wyndham

With Christmas on our doorstep, Wyndham has so much on offer for everyone to enjoy and its free.

Mayor Cr Susan McIntyre said: "It is a great opportunity to get into the festive spirit and support our wonderful local creatives, retailers and the hospitality sector including our cafés and restaurants."

"We've made it even easier for residents to shop and support local this Christmas, with three Christmas makers markets and festive fun across Wyndham with kids activities, roving performers, entertainment and selfies with Santa."

"The makers markets showcase local makers and their creations with a wide variety of unique gifts on offer."

"There are three fabulous events to start the festivities. Bring the family down, grab a bite to eat, tick off some Christmas shopping and enjoy all of the entertainment on offer while supporting local businesses."

The festive fun starts at the Christmas Market on Saturday, 3 December from 10am to 2pm at Hoppers Junction. Featuring a makers market with local artisans, kids activities, entertainment, flower crown making and more.

Christmas in Werribee City Centre will come to life on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December from 10am - 3pm each day. There will be fun for the whole family with roving performers, face painting, entertainment and retail offers.

A Makers Market will be popping up in the car park of the Wyndham Cultural Centre.

There will be colourful handmade jewellery, beautiful ceramics, homewares, candles, gift cards, beauty products and more. Local retailers will also have special offers and VIP experiences across the weekend, including a fashion parade.

On Friday 16 December from 5pm to 8.30pm, Meet me in Tarneit - Tarneit Twilight Market will be sparkling.

"This is a special Christmas edition of the Tarneit Twilight Market that is held the third Friday of each month, November to March," Cr McIntyre said.

"Browse the stalls, catch a performance, enjoy some kids activities or grab a bite to eat it's the perfect way to spend a Friday evening this summer."

Meet me in Tarneit is a free Wyndham City event series is made possible with the support of the Tarneit Revitalisation Board and funding from the Victorian Government.
